My name is Tamela J. Ritter and I am a writer, freelance journalist and co-founded a literary charity, Tears of the Phoenix.

Our first anthology was called, "Ripple Effect" and all proceeds go to Rebuild New Orleans Public Library.

This journal is for me to share my original work, my work in progress and to read other people's writing. I might also post randomly about books I've read, writers I've admired or blog about writing and what not. I will not lock any of these posts, but if you'd like me to read your blog, you need to friend me and I'll friend you back.
